Our Open Mic Mondays are very special to us.

Our view on songwriting is that it's a craft to be honed everyday, and with talent and work, and the stars aligning just so, it can evolve to high art... And as serious as that sounds, rest assured, there's more than a little bit of fun going on around here... ; ) And the stars - they align more than we know.

---> We're Electrified. And Acoustic.

---> All genres welcome. We've engineered them all... You'll

sound great.

poetry, Rap poetry excepted (Shram) as it's musical.
---> We've welcomed various diciplines in the past, and we've

had a great time, yet we've decided it's best to organize a

separate night to allow the necessary space, time, and

unique vibe they each deserve. Sorry folks, but on the

Nelson Sobral, pictured above, is an enormously talented, and versatile, songwriter and musician. He's a very bright light - a powerhouse really - and his warm, affable energy and musical empathy are infectious and immensely heartening. And all of this, is only exceeded by his humility. Amazing...

Nelson tirelessly champions other artists, is a staunch supporter of the Toronto music scene, and is a consummate Professional Musician. You gotta hear this cat play... You can check him out every Monday.
